Here in the states, we're all freaking out as the reality that an orange scam artist might become our president. We're running around panicking that our fabric of America will fray if its not already frayed...neglecting the fact that the country was founded on and built on death and lies. But... meanwhile in Key West.... Tacky and Quirky win.
Did you know that you're missing out on fall? Seriously, if you aren't living in the Mitten or Vermont or Maine, you're missing out on gorgeous colours and traditional treats as a daily thing. Cider mills and donuteries (its a new word.... if YOLO can get dictionary status, donuteries should be a shoe in!) abound in the northern middle. While the East Coast, Southern Charm, and Western Heights all are lovely, autumn just isn't their season. Michigan co-owns fall! (Seriously, VT, northern NY, WI, and essentially all of Canada graciously share the title.) We're the ones feeling {overly} thrilled that one of the best cider mills we've ever been to (cider mill adventures coming in a post soon) is city adjacent. High five, America, high five!
Robinette's Cider Mill & Bakery in Grand Rapids, MI Art Prize is quite possibly the greatest Art Show I've ever witnessed. Welcome to Grand Rapids in America's High Five. If you're not here, you're missing out.
