Sadly, a good majority of the quirky and gimick laiden theme parks have closed down. , leaving only remnants and ruins of their once slightly creepy amusement sector. When an open (and vibrantly bustling) one is stumbled upon, it doesn't matter if its the destination or part of the journey. I was the one whirling into the Wild West Show, sans blinker, just to snap some shots of the dairy lovin' giant.
Photos taken at Frontier Town near Ocean City. Yes, its a Western Theme Park that backs into the ocean. .... Meanwhile in the Strip, a busy district in Pittsburgh... **Been spending most my life livin' in a foodie paradise. The kishkas and perogies, perogies and the kishkas, chocolates and lattes, noodles and shnitzels..... Been spending most my life livin' in a foodie paradise....**
That. just. happened. Meanwhile in Barcelona......... (this particular Bullfight is a show, no violent swords thrust through the creature's body.) History overgrown with moss and trodden down by tourist's footsteps. Quirky , lovely, and metropolitan sit along side ancient and pious.
If you haven't been, go. Photos courtesy of Cici who's crossing off my bucket list this summer Meanwhile, again in Philli... At the Mummer's Museum.
Loving the colourful costumes.... would anyone notice if I wore one to work? Festival days seem best when filled with summertime farm dreams. I was the one intently following your fast paced pickin' under the shade tree; the one talking to the peacocks and counting the tadpoles near the lillypads. That girl who came up to speak to you, after you sang, only about your t-shirt, Legalize Bluegrass, well.... that was me. I loved every second.
(Kyle and I at the Fiddler's Convention & Festival. Summer for my soul) We were the ones being the moment(s) for the all American festivities & forgetting to photograph most of the hometown happenings until . Pancake breakfasts, craft fairs, parades, cookouts with friends, catching fireflies, and fireworks. 'Murica
